I’ve been hyper fixated on this forever and I knew Taste of Afghan was around and they had the eggplant I’ve been wanting to try! I was able to stop by at the food carts and ordered a combo plate with chicken and beef with rice. The lady was so sweet and kind and let me try the eggplant because they offer it as an entree not a side. SO KIND. I was very excited. The food was very tasty and yummy. Also the eggplant did not disappoint this was so good and I will only eat it this way definitely worth the time to wait and try...The chicken was juicy and flavorful I ate it all so fast i wished I had more haha. The lentils was also flavorful along with the spicy mint sauce. I will be returning as this is now one of my favorite dishes! Thank you!!! Now add a cornucopia of vibrant, farm-fresh vegetables that add a burst of color and an orchestra of flavors in every spoonful and they make fresh soup every Friday and Saturday those two days highly recommend to come try it and the lady is very nice and friendly and knows how to satisfy there customers I can’t wait to go back and try different type of Afghan food on the menu ”
